First steps

  1. Update Color Hunt and iOS to the newest versions available to you.
  2. Close and reopen Color Hunt.
  3. Check available iPhone storage in Settings → General → iPhone Storage.
  4. Confirm relevant permissions in Settings → Apps → Color Hunt.
  5. For purchase or restore problems, confirm that you are online and signed in to the same Apple account used for the purchase.

Camera does not open

Open Settings → Apps → Color Hunt → Camera and allow access. If Camera is unavailable because of Screen Time, device management, or parental controls, update those restrictions first. Color Hunt cannot override an iOS restriction.

Build from memories cannot see photos

Open Settings → Apps → Color Hunt → Photos. Choose Full Access or Selected Photos. With Selected Photos, only the items you approve can be matched. Matching and color analysis happen on your iPhone; your photo library is not uploaded to Color Hunt.

Saving an export fails

Allow Color Hunt to add photos in Settings → Apps → Color Hunt → Photos, confirm that storage is available, then try again. You can also use the App’s share action and select a destination from the native iOS share sheet.

A hunt or photo is missing

Color Hunt has no account or server-side archive. Hunts are stored locally and may be included in your Apple-controlled device backup. Deleting the App removes its local data. Before reinstalling, export work you want to keep and confirm whether you have a suitable iPhone/iCloud backup.

Subscriptions and Color Hunt Pro

Manage or cancel

Open iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Color Hunt. Cancellation stops the next renewal; Pro normally remains active until the current paid period ends.

Restore a purchase

Open You in Color Hunt and choose Restore purchase. Use the same Apple account that originally subscribed. If nothing is restored, verify the subscription under Apple’s subscription settings and try again while online.

Request a refund

Apple processes App Store payments and refund decisions. Submit a request at reportaproblem.apple.com. Color Hunt does not receive payment-card information and cannot issue an App Store refund directly.

A trial or price looks different

Trial eligibility, price, currency, and taxes are determined by Apple and can vary by account or storefront. The Apple purchase confirmation shown before payment is authoritative. Do not confirm if the displayed product is not what you expect.

Notifications

Color Hunt reminders are local notifications. Open Settings → Notifications → Color Hunt to allow or disable them. There is no Color Hunt push-notification server, so the in-App bell reflects local reminders and milestones rather than messages from an online inbox.

Product analytics

Color Hunt does not include a product analytics SDK. Hunts, photos, profile fields, and exported images stay on your device. See the Privacy Policy for the complete data-handling details.

Delete local data

Delete individual hunts inside the App, or open You → Data & Privacy → Delete all local data to remove local stories, photos, profile details, chapters, and reminders at once. This does not cancel an Apple subscription. Removing Color Hunt from your iPhone also removes its local App container; Apple-controlled backups and purchase history are managed separately in your Apple settings.
