For help with anything, email us at oguzhankayan@outlook.com.tr. Please include your iOS version, the App version (Settings → About), and a short description of what you were doing when the issue happened.
Common topics
Account and sign‑in
You can use Color Hunt as a guest or sign in with Apple or email. Signing in lets you sync hunts across devices and host private multiplayer events. If you can't sign in, check your internet connection, make sure your iCloud account is signed in for Sign in with Apple, and try again. To sign out, go to Profile → Settings → Sign out.
Camera permission
Color Hunt needs Camera access to capture hunt photos. If you previously declined, open iOS Settings → Color Hunt → Camera and turn it on. We do not record video and do not access the camera in the background.
Photo Library permission
Photos access is only requested when you choose to import a photo from your library or save an exported image to Photos. You can grant full access or "Selected Photos" — both work. If saves fail, check iOS Settings → Color Hunt → Photos.
Invite and join (multiplayer)
Hosts can share an invite code or QR. Guests can either type the 6‑character code or scan the QR. If a code says "expired," "ended," or "full," the host either cancelled it, ended it, or the participant cap was reached. Side‑by‑side hunts are limited to 5 participants; remote hunts to 10.
Photos aren't syncing
Multiplayer photo sync requires an internet connection. The board pill at the top of the screen shows the current state. If a photo upload fails, the App retries automatically with backoff; you can also pull to refresh on the board. If a photo is replaced, it should land in the same slot for everyone — if you see drift, please write in.
Export and share
After a hunt, choose a template and tap Save & share. The native iOS share sheet handles destinations like Messages, Mail, AirDrop, Save Image, and apps that support image sharing. From the success sheet you can also save the image directly to Photos (with permission), share again, or start a new hunt.
Purchases and subscriptions
If subscriptions or in‑app purchases are offered in your version of the App, payments are handled by Apple. To manage or cancel a subscription, open iOS Settings → your name at the top → Subscriptions. Refund requests for App Store purchases are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Delete data or account
You can delete an individual hunt from its detail screen. You can delete your entire account from Settings → Delete account. Deletion removes your account row and the hunts and photos tied to it. If you want a copy of your data first, email us before deleting.
Quick troubleshooting
- Force‑quit and reopen the App.
- Check your internet connection — multiplayer needs it.
- Confirm Camera and Photos permissions in iOS Settings.
- Update Color Hunt to the latest version from the App Store.
- Restart your device if a sync seems stuck.
